I used the first chance I got and I participated in a protest to say "No to wars", but that was not enough. I then started working with some associations, for peace, and I participate in some peace conferences that helped developed my skills. I began to focus on youth, teaching them what the real meaning of war was, and that there are much more ways to solve our problem without wars.

I came to be involved with TIG for networking purposes, sharing experiences and learning about other cultures and I must say I have not been disappointed. TIG has helped me attain those goals and meet people of different backgrounds, cultures etc and this has taught me tolerance and acceptance. So I believe TIG can help you achieve some of one's goals. TIG exposes you to many resources to chose from and this will help in whatever one is doing. ( read more)

An issue that matters to me is [youth] leadership. As I observed the leadership pursuits of my peers, I saw how easily good intentioned-leaders became corrupted leaders, and how charismatic leaders became narcissistic. Some leaders that I admire in history are Malcolm X, Martin Luther King, and Nelson Mandela who not only voiced the many injustices against people of African descent, but who also called for equality for all.
